darkmakor This album is a really cool vibe all throughout, it makes me want to visualize the same thing round wave crusher probably did with his avatar lizzy going on an adventure through a dystopian cyberpunk-esque scene. going commando to take down S.T.A.R. if the lore get's more fully developed by artists and writers we will finally have the most amazing anime to ever come out of electronic music, but hopefully i'm not getting too excited. i wish round wave crusher and gang the best as always. In the heart of Neo Buenos Aires, the Trackmakers devised a covert plan to infiltrate S.T.A.R. and secure the Super TEK-TYPE, wary of a potential ambush. Their route: a labyrinth of forgotten tunnels beneath the city, shielding them from surveillance. A digital cloak was cast by their hacker, while a silent operative neutralized guards along the way. Tech expertise enabled a breach into the facility's core, where the prized specimens were housed. An agile operative executed the extraction, mindful of the looming threat. In the shadows, the Trackmakers embarked on their mission, navigating the thin line between success and the potential ambush awaiting them.

Welcome to "SUPER TEK TYPE - Sidestories - Assault on S.T.A.R."!
A synthwave and darkwave experience.

I had the idea of making a synthwave album back in 2021. But then, I started to mix it with hardtek and hardcore, ended inviting a couple of friends and that was STT 1. Then 2 came out trying to mimic the PC98 era aestetics.

But then I started to get back into the idea of the full album and made it into Assault on STAR

There's a narrative on the tracks, visuals and complementary media that will be published as bonus items.

I still have some ideas for moving forward on this project but, after the release I'll probably focus on a couple of hardcore releases and side projects.

I don't have specific artist influences on the genere. I just like the cyperpunk aestetic in general.
The main influence was series and movies like Bubblegum Crisis, Serial Experiments Lain, Cyber City Oedo 808, GITS, Dirty Pair. I also took inspiration from Blade Runner (vangelis) on some of the ambient tracks.
